What is Halloween? An impossible task to define, to explain. The only thing I am certain of, I, like my soul Robert Aragon Halloween Logomates believe in it's importance, it's spiritual connection. Halloween conjures up fantastical thoughts of pumpkins, black cats and sweet trick or treats. But we must not forget the true meaning, the essence of October 31st. All Hallow's eve. The Night all evil dwells and the dead return to us. A rare holiday which has survived, considering the religious zealots who profess it's evil. Evil? I have never met a demon who has not been less than a perfect lady or gentleman. But the fundamentalist religious fanatic......the self righteous look in itself is pure evil. Halloween is celebrated in many ways by many people. Myself and my bag of devils, consisting of Robert Aragon Halloween Menu friends and family, celebrate it with a show. A haunting spectacle parading before the public what horrors have, may and will always be. No blood and gore. Nothing as silly as the latest splatter film matinee idol. Here in this show of shows, we collaborate and bring forth tales of the human spirit. The human mind. And at times, the most frightening thing of all, the human Heart. From recreating the Spanish Inquisition to exposing our audience to Dantes Hell we relish in hearing the subtle sound of fear fall upon our audience as they become witness to their nightmares reenacted before them. I believe we all  have a responsibility to educate, enlighten or illuminate another living creatures path. America in particular has been washed away of the importance of death, and life cycles. Leaving most us with a sterile unappreciated life, full of happy mediocre "Disneyesque" false endings.  We must not forget to celebrate the silly "childish" night of Halloween. For without that, imagination may wither, we may forget things which scare us...and we may become simpleminded shallow beings....and those my friends, are more frightening than any devil I have ever met.
